"Henry David Thoreau believed that in order to live well, we must reduce the number of material goods we have. Otherwise, these things begin to dominate us. Take a position on this and explain."
I agree with this quote because it's basically saying that you don't need to be rich and have money to be happy. Just because you're rich doesn't mean you enjoy what you do and are happy. It could mean that you buy all these material items to make up for what happiness you don't have.
Having less material items makes you enjoy the "little things" in life, such as family, friends, and enjoying yourself. When you have more material items such as a car, big house, or any other expensive items, you start to lose focus on what really matters in life. What really matters in life is being happy an being around people that love you. Not objects that cost a lot.

Book Responce
We have just read the book The Curious Incident of the dog at Night-Time. Overall I would say that the book was pretty good but it was very boring and dragged on in some parts. This book is about a young man names Christopher. Christopher has aspergers and has difficulty interacting with the people around him. His father has made him believe that his mother is dead but really he has been lying to him and hiding letters that his mother has been sending to him for over a year. His mother really left his father for their neighbor Mr. Shears and has moved to London. Christopher finds this out and realizes that the only way to feel safe is to go to London and find his mother.
If I had to rate this book on a scale of 1-10 I would rate this an 8 because the story is good and has a good underlining meaning but it was very boring to read and strange at times because you are seeing from the eyes of a young man with a disorder. Also, some of the other characters are strange. Such as Mr. Shears, you never know his first name and I find this weird and odd. Overall this was a good book but I would only recommend it to someone who doesn't mind not a lot of action in the stories they hear because this book has none of it.

Prime Numbers
I think that the quote in the book The Curious Incident of the Dog at Night Time about prime numbers relating to life is correct. What they say about prime numbers is that although you can have an understanding about them, you never really fully know how they work or how to interpret them. Just like life, you never really figure out everything or know everything about it. You just figure out more tricks and stuff about it.
You could argue this to because in life you could know what you should do or have an idea about it. Not knowing nothing and being clueless about it and why it exists or what it means. Life is like prime numbers in the way that you never know 100% how it works or what it is.
