Destiny vs Free Will

I believe that destiny is an important role in anyone's life. Sure you can have a destiny to do something such as in LOTR the characters have a destiny to destroy the ring. They are going to do that because that is their main goal in life at the moment. I believe that you create your own destiny though. If you want something bad enough, you will get it. End of story.  If you want something and you work hard for it and you end up getting what you want, don't blame all of your hard work on destiny and say that no matter what it was going to happen. Say that you worked hard for it and you wanted it so bad that there was no way for it not to happen. If you want something or plan to do something in your life I don't think destiny is the way to think. I believe that your free will lets you do what you chose and it is your own choice of what happens in your life.
